Hartman Middle School is located just north of Hobby Airport, near Sims Bayou and west of the Ship Channel. The school zone spans a diverse neighborhood including all socioeconomic levels and ethnic populations. This mix of cultures makes Hartman Middle School a unique school. The student population of approximately 1,500 students consist of 26% African American, 3% Asian, 68% Hispanic, one percent Native American, and 2% Anglo American. The students, staff and community are proud of our new school built in 2006.
