Hartman Middle School provides an extensive tutorial network in Mathematics, Reading, Writing and Social Studies was developed after careful analysis of student needs.

The faculty of Hartman is dedicated to the improvement of students’ attitudes and skill development. Both premier educational organizations, the American Federation of Teachers and the National Education Association, which have educational research and development programs, agree that tutorials can significantly help increase the number of students successfully completing their state-mandated tests through enhanced reinforcement of learning objectives
More than 30 years of classroom experiences and experimentation have shown that students who are regularly exposed to intensive tutorials have higher measures of achievement and better attitudes towards their academic achievement.
