Hartman Middle School mathematics and science Magnet programs give students the opportunity for in-depth, process-oriented study in science and math related fields in conjunction with a strong academic program. Students are encouraged to develop laboratory skills through active, "hands-on"experimentation in a variety of science courses.

Hartman’s Magnet School provides an enriched program which emphasizes mathematics and science. Gifted/Talented students are identified so that their needs can be met through a diffentiated curriculum. The core curriculum is housed in its own building, providing an environment that reinforces students’ ability to learn and grow academically and socially, developing their special talents while enhancing their learning capacities.
